Amtrak-Hazelwood Ave Bridge Rehab - Rahway

Amtrak will be making necessary repairs to the bridge over Hazelwood Avenue in Rahway, NJ.

The work is scheduled to commence on October 24 with a 4-month duration. While work is ongoing at the bridge, Hazelwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic at the bridge and a detour route through Rahway will be posted. Construction activities will be ongoing during the day and the night for the duration of the project, with typical workdays being Monday through Thursday. 6 weekends of work are also proposed between November 2022 and February 2023 to complete critical repairs requiring railroad track outages.
