NOTICE
OF ROAD CONSTRUCTION
Pleased
be advised that the Gordon St. railroad
bridge from Westfield Ave to W.
1st Ave in Roselle park/Roselle will
be closed on or about Monday,
March 7, 2022.
Rail
Road Construction, LLC intends to close the bridge
as part of the Union County Bridge Replacement
Program. Due to the nature of the work the bridge
will be fully closed to both vehicular and pedestrian
traffic for the duration of the project which is
scheduled to run through July, 2023.
A
clearly marked detour route will be established
and maintained by the contractor.
The
County recognizes the inconvenience that any road
construction may cause and apologizes for any difficulties
encountered. The County shall make every effort
to have the work completed as soon as possible.

updates for the various phases of construction
and their impact on traffic will be posted if and
