REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Notice is hereby given that the County of Union will receive proposals on
October 15, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. EDT in the Union County Administration Building,
10 Elizabethtown Plaza, County Counsel Law Library, 5th Floor, Elizabeth, NJ, for the provision of:
Trailside Nature and Science Center Recycling and Litter Abatement Exhibit Space Design, Fabrication, and Installation
Tentative Period of Contract
November 1, 2024 – July 31, 2025
Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with
N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4.
Requests for Proposals may be obtained by:
- Downloading the proposal from the County’s Webpage (ucnj.org);
- Directly by visiting (http://ucnj.org/vendor-opportunities/rfqs-and-rfps/current/);
- A hard copy may be picked up at the Office the County Counsel, Union County Administration Building, 5th Floor, 10 Elizabethtown Plaza, Elizabeth, New Jersey during the hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning on September 26, 2024; or
- Proposals may be mailed upon request by calling the Office of the County Counsel at (908) 527-4250.

Proposals must be made in the form required by the specifications and One (1) Original Paper hard copy and One (1) PDF electronic copy on a CD or Thumb Drive must be delivered to reach Carolyn Sullivan Kropp, Esq., Office of the County Counsel, Union County Administration Building, 5th Floor, 10 Elizabethtown Plaza, Elizabeth, New Jersey 07207. All information requested in the Request for Proposals must be provided or the proposal may be disqualified. Proposals MUST BE SEALED and labeled “PROPOSALS – TRAILSIDE NATURE AND SCIENCE CENTER RECYCLING AND LITTER ABATEMENT EXHIBIT SPACE DESIGN, FABRICATION, AND INSTALLATION” prior to the stated time for the receipt of proposals and received no later than 11:00 A.M. on October 15, 2024. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informality in the RFQ process, and to accept any proposals which, in their judgment, are most advantageous, price and other factors considered, and will best serve the interest of Union County.

Human Services Notice is hereby given that the County of Union will receive proposals on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 29, 2024 at 11:00 a. m., EST, In the Union County Administration Building, 10 Elizabethtown Plaza, County Counsel 5th Conference Room, Elizabeth, NJ for the program entitled: County of Union Alcohol/Drug Abuse (A/DA) Grant Funds Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4. The Request for Proposals (“RFP”) may be obtained online beginning Thursday, October 3, 2024 at http://ucnj.org/vendor-opportunities/rfqs-and-rfps/current or via U.S. Postal Service upon written request. Proposers should be aware that the County of Union may issue addenda to the RFP package. The County of Union is only obligated to inform proposers of such addenda if they have obtained a package directly from the County of Union or have downloaded it from the County of Union’s website. It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to be knowledgeable of any and all addenda related to this procurement. Therefore, interested parties should check the website throughout the RFP process for any updates.
