The Union County Board of County Commissioners, through the Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, is pleased to offer a Special Project Grant in the amount of $1,000* to support programming associated with the Nation’s 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution and Union County’s historic initiatives.
- These grants are intended to support educational, historical, and interpretive programming at participating historic sites, including but not limited to lectures, demonstrations, re-enactments, printed educational materials, and related programming.
- You may apply for a minimum of $250 and a maximum of $1,000.
- Grant funds may not be used for refreshments, fireworks, or unrelated operational expenses.
- Programming must take place in 2026. Ongoing exhibits may continue/extend into 2027 if needed.
- If awarded this grant, all funds must be fully spent by Nov. 20, 2026, and the Final Report (including proof of payment) must be submitted online by Dec. 4, 2026.
