The Union County FRESH START Program connects individuals and families with essential services and community resources in one convenient location. Participants can access free showers, laundry, and restroom services on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition, FRESH START provides meals and connections to a variety of supportive services and resources, including SNAP, General Assistance (GA), TANF, mental health services, housing assistance, emergency assistance, substance use services, and employment and career resources through the American Job Center, along with other community-based supports.
The program is held at the Elizabeth Public Library, 11 S. Broad Street, Elizabeth, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the scheduled dates listed below.
