This summer Trailside Nature & Science Center is partnering with the Union County Master Gardeners to teach young summer camp children about nature. Trailside campers in the Bugs & Beyond, Art in Nature and Green Team programs walk to the gardens to meet up with volunteers from the Master Gardeners to tour the gardens and investigate the diversity of plants while learning about insects, using plants as nature’s paints, tree ID, conservation and sustainability.
