We are excited to share that Echo Lake Park has been chosen as the backdrop for a film production! As a result, the park will be temporarily closed to the public through this Thursday, May 9th and intermittently after 2:00 p.m. from May 20th through 25th, to accommodate this film shoot.
This film production brings significant benefits to our county, including economic growth, job opportunities, and putting our community in the spotlight. By providing a setting for filmmakers, we are showcasing the beauty of our area to audiences around the world.
We understand that closing the park may inconvenience some of our visitors, but it’s essential for your safety and the success of the filming. With the heavy amount of foot traffic and the excitement surrounding the movie, closing the park ensures a smooth and secure environment for both the production team and the public.
