The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders is proud to partner with WellCare Health Plans through the Union County Office of LGBTQ Affairs (Dept of Economic Development) to present the first Union County Health & Wellness Fair scheduled for Saturday, October 5 at Union County College (Cranford) from 12 Noon until 4 PM.
Health and wellness organizations/providers who offer services and programs for LGBTQ individuals are invited to request for a space at Union County’s first LGBTQ Health and Wellness Fair to offer educational presentations, giveaways, resources and information.
Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people often face numerous barriers in accessing health services.
The Union County LGBTQ Health & Wellness Fair represents our commitment to supporting a strong and healthy community and is part of our ongoing effort to provide a safe space for the LGBTQ community to access basic health screenings and important information.
By registering for a space at this event, health and wellness organizations/providers agree to assist in promoting the event within your network and as part of your regular community outreach efforts. Each organization/provider that is granted a space will be offered with one table and two chairs.
