Court clothes are accepted 7 days per week Monday thru Sunday 8:30AM-3:00PM and 4:30PM-9:00PM
Inmate property turnovers are accepted 7 days per week Monday thru Sunday 8:30AM-3:00PM and 4:30PM-9:00PM
Acceptable items include:
- 1 pair socks
- 1 belt
- 5 pair of dress socks
- 5 suits or dresses
- 5 slacks or pants
- 5 ties for men
- 3 dress shoes or blouses for women
Lengthy court cases may require that clothing be exchanged.
Civilian clothing is not permitted to be worn by inmates.
Purchase of any items needed can be done through commissary at the Essex and Hudson county jails.
