We must always exercise integrity in the use of this power and authority, and conduct ourselves in a manner that merits the respect of the public through our honest and ethical behavior.

The members of the Sheriff’s Office will treat the public and each other alike with dignity, tolerance, civility and fairness at all times. We will not allow bias or prejudice to affect our decisions or conduct, as our reputation is dependent on our ability to remain impartial. It is through this respect for self and others that we will foster respect for the Sheriff’s Office and all of its members.
