[ezcol_1third]RED – ‘‘Miles for Meals’’ is a fundraising event that incorporates a 5k run with local performing talent and food concessions. Each school will have an option to put together a team for the race. In addition, the race will be open to the general public. Registration fees will go directly to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Spectators can enjoy local music and concessions. A portion of the proceeds from food sales will go directly to ending childhood hunger.
LIGHT BLUE – “Flip for Food” is a school vs school water bottle flipping TEAM competition. Schools will pay entry fees to participate. These fees will go directly to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
ORANGE – “Kans 4 Kids” is a collection project that will focus on the collection of nutritious canned items that they will turn into “can-struction. “ The structure building competition will be the finale of the project as each school strives to have the best looking display.
