Led Zeppelin tribute band, Black Dog to perform July 24th at the Union County Summer Arts Festival

Union County, NJ — The Board of Chosen Freeholders is proud to announce that Black Dog, a tribute band to Led Zepplin will be live in concert at Union County’s Summer Arts Concert Series at Echo Lake Park on Wednesday, July 24.

“Led Zeppelin is one of the most popular bands in the world,” said Freeholder Chair Bette Jane Kowalski. “It is great to see a tribute band like Black Dog bringing its greatest hits to Echo Lake Park as part of our Summer Concert Series, and I hope residents will enjoy the evening.”

Black Dog, established nearly 20 years ago, proudly pays tribute to the mighty Led Zeppelin with an extensive catalogue of songs comprised of classic masterpieces like “Dazed and Confused,” “Heartbreaker,” and “Stairway to Heaven,” as well as the less heard B-sides to satisfy the more discerning fans. The show also includes extended versions that recapture the true live experience such as “Whole Lotta Love,” from The Song Remains the Same, complete with Page’s magical Theramin solo.

The concert will take place at Echo Lake Park in Mountainside. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or towel for UC Fit Yoga, led by Home Power Yoga of Cranford, at 6:30. The concert will begin promptly at 7:30. A food truck and an ice cream truck will be present.
