Services include career counseling, training & career advancement for residents and employers.

Our mission is to align education, employment & other community programs & to collaborate with our partners to cultivate the skilled & high-quality workers needed for local employers to prosper and grow.

Black Men Vote (BMV)

Black Men Vote (BMV) will host a resource table offering on-site voter registration for eligible attendees; a concise New Jersey rights-restoration explainer (including that individuals on probation or parole are eligible to register and vote); help requesting Vote-by-Mail ballots and building a simple “vote plan”; sign-ups for text/email election reminders; and a one-page “Returning Brothers Civic Guide” with referrals to trusted local partners.

We’ll also collect interest for follow-up one-on-one support and invite attendees to BMV’s 2026 engagement opportunities in Union County and statewide.

These services are aligned with New Jersey’s current voting rights framework and are intended to complement the clinic’s broader set of resource tables.

Bridges Outreach

Will be providing information regarding housing supports – homelessness prevention as well as re-housing and housing stabilization.

Central Jersey Legal Services, Inc.

Nonprofit law firm that provides free legal assistance to low-income residents of Mercer, Middlesex, and Union Counties providing assistance with issues related to housing, landlord/tenant law, family law, public benefits, consumer law, bankruptcy, and expungements.

Assist with voter registration and share information about our community outreach initiatives.

National Council of Negro Women

NCNW GEAS will provide an outreach to approximately a thousand women that stretch across fourteen NCNW sections across the state of New Jersey.

Our section will set up an area at the event to provide detail information that covers Good Health Wins practice which focuses on raising awareness regarding immunization, vaccinations, and up to date health care tips that are crucial for protecting individuals and communities from preventable diseases.

Will be providing resource information including but not limited to the following:

  • Information on Gratis Services Provided by various NAACP Committees
  • Information about Training and Employment Opportunities for Individuals searching for “another chance”
Union County Fatherhood Initiative Coalition

Will have a resource table with information about upcoming events, workshops and programs for 2025-3026.

There will also be useful information for previously incarcerated fathers and father figures.

Urban League

Our Reentry Program is a full-service case management initiative designed to support formerly incarcerated individuals returning to the community.

We partner closely with parole, probation, and the New Jersey Department of Corrections, and we coordinate the Union County Reentry Task Force, which connects us to a broad network of community resources.

For participants enrolled in our program, we also provide “essential bags” for individuals experiencing homelessness, along with food cards and other basic-needs support. Intake into our program is required to access these services so we can tailor support to each person’s situation.

We provide:

  • Mental Health & Wellness – Peer support, mentoring, and life coaching.
  • Housing Support & Transportation – Assistance with stable housing options and transit needs.
  • Employment & Education Services – Job readiness, job placement, and connections to training or educational programs.
  • Social & Medical Services – Linkages to social service agencies and medical providers.
