Please note: Union County’s Recycling Events for March, April and May have been cancelled due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus. The impacted events are Mobile Paper Shredding Events, Household Hazardous Waste Programs, and Scrap Metal Recycling. Hours of Operation 9 am to 1 pm*
Please bring material in PAPER BAGS (if possible)
*Shredding Program will end prior to 1 pm in the event the shredding truck(s) reaches capacity
Previously shredded paper will not be accepted
In an effort to accommodate all those wishing to participate, there is a limit of 4 bags or boxes per car weighing no more than 10lbs. each.
- Material should be brought in Paper Bags whenever possible
- This event is garbage-free: boxes and plastic bags will be returned
- NO wet or damp paper! No Plastic Ring Binders or Clips
- Limit papers to confidential / sensitive materials only
