The Union County Board of County Commissioners is pleased to announce the return of its popular Family Fun and Flix series for summer 2026 at Warinanco Park.
“Summer nights in the park create some of the memories families hold onto for years,” said Union County Commissioner Chairman Joseph C. Bodek. “Whether it’s kids running around before the movie starts, neighbors catching up on the lawn, or families simply spending time together outdoors, programs like this remind us how important community spaces and shared experiences really are.”
This year’s lineup features five family-friendly movies that will be shown outdoors throughout July and August. All screenings will take place at Warinanco Park in Elizabeth, with festivities beginning at 7:30 p.m. and movies starting at dusk.
Residents are encouraged to bring blankets or beach chairs to relax on the lawn and enjoy an evening of entertainment with family and friends. Family-friendly activities will take place before each showing, and an ice cream truck will be available on site for attendees who wish to purchase refreshments.

- August 11 – A Minecraft Movie
- August 18 – Lilo and Stitch (2025)
All showings will be held at Warinanco Park in Elizabeth. Movies are weather permitting.
