Union County Garden Fair Delights All Ages

Union County, NJ — A young visitor shows a bird feeder creation to Master Gardener Joyce Laudise of Berkeley Heights at the 22nd annual Rutgers Master Gardeners of Union County Spring Garden Fair and Plant Sale. The event, held each May at the Watchung Reservation in Mountainside, features plants for sale, free gardening advice, baked goodies and children’s activities. Proceeds fund the Master Gardeners’ community service projects. The program is run by the Rutgers Cooperative Extension, supported in part by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
