Union County Clerk Joanne Rajoppi announces that the County Clerk’s offices in both Elizabeth and Westfield will be open this Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for voting in the special primary election for the 10th Congressional District, which will be held on Tuesday, July 16.
Voters of the 10th Congressional District can visit either office to cast their vote during these special Saturday hours. This special primary election is being held to fill the unexpired term for the House of Representatives in the 10th District, vacated by the passing of the Honorable Donald M. Payne Jr.
“By extending our office hours, we are providing more opportunities for voters to participate in this important election,” said Union County Clerk Joanne Rajoppi. “Our goal is to make the voting process as convenient and accessible as possible for all eligible voters.”
New Jersey’s 10th Congressional District includes Cranford, Garwood, Hillside, Kenilworth, Linden (part), Roselle, Roselle Park, and Union Township. Voters can visit either of the County Clerk’s offices at the following locations and times:
Westfield Office 300 North Avenue East
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Saturday, July 13: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Elizabeth Office 2 Broad St #115
- Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, July 13: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
