The annual report is created to provide a summary of activity by the County Planning Office and County Planning Board.
The annual report takes development application data from one year and compares it with the previous year or years. The report identifies the total number of development applications received and reviewed, compiles application types, land uses, proposed development square footage, review fees, and various data requests.
The planning office is a repository of municipal development ordinances, zoning, and master plans. Each year the County receives amendments to these documents from its member municipalities. This information along with environmental information is maintained by the County Planning Office for the County Planning Board.
This data is often used for information requests or for research associated to development applications received and reviewed by staff on behalf of the County Planning Board.
