Union County to Host “Pathways to Employment” Job Fair Featuring Over 30 Hiring Companies

The Union County Board of County Commissioners, in collaboration with the American Job Center, invites interested residents to the Pathways to Employment Job Fair on Monday, March 10th from 10:00am-2:00pm at Warinanco Sports Center, located at 1 Park Drive in Roselle.

“These events are valuable resource for job seekers to connect with top employers across different fields of interest, opening doors to new careers,” said Union County Chairwoman Lourdes M. Leon. “Our past job fairs have successfully helped many residents secure meaningful employment. Providing opportunities for residents to build their futures and achieve their career goals is a priority.”

This employment fair is completely free and open to all Union County residents. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with over 30 companies from a variety of industries, including FedEx, American Red Cross, Port Authority, and the U.S. Navy.

“A thriving job market is essential to a strong community,” said Commissioner Sergio Granados, Liaison to the Workforce Development Board. “Job fairs provide Union County residents with a unique opportunity to connect with both local businesses and nationally recognized companies. By connecting job seekers with employers, we are helping residents secure opportunities that contribute to their professional growth while strengthening the local economy.”

While registration is not required, it is highly encouraged at www.ucnj.org/dhs/job-fairs. Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and dress professionally.
