Welcome to the Division on Aging
The Union County Division on Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) is one of 622 Area Agencies on Aging nationwide established under the federal Older Americans Act of 1965. Its goal is to promote wellness, independence, dignity and choice for older adults and their families. The Division has the primary responsibility of the planning and coordination of services for Union County residents age 60 and over and their caregivers. In addition to providing 24 congregate lunch sites throughout the County serving hot lunch on weekdays, the Division also provides information for an array of services including, but not limited to, home delivered meals, legal services, home health care, house-keeping, housing assistance, transportation, volunteer programs, adult day care, residential maintenance and caregiver services.
The Division on Aging does not discriminate against any older adult or their caregiver because of race, creed, color, sex, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or marital status. No otherwise qualified disabled older adult shall, solely by reason of his or her disability, be excluded from the participation in, denied the benefit of, or be subjected to discrimination under any federally funded programs or activities administered by this division.
